Its really hard to figure out why an app that does literally one thing would be updated and have the only thing it does not work.
This most current update fixed my MJPEG format camera, but my H.264 cameras are just displaying black, but no more spinning circle.. one of my cameras which has audio enabled only has audio but no picture and then my other H.264 one which only doesnt have a picture. Please fix and I will update my review. I dont know whats taking so long..
Seems to work fine for me. Not sure why others are having problems...
As title states, the latest synology update broke DS Cam. Same thing happened last month on patch day. It seems they dont sync updates together Edit: After the DSM update, I noticed my NAS didnt reboot. I manually rebooted it and DS Cam started again
Synology, please fix the live video to the app!! It records video to the Diskstation just fine so I know its not a camera issue..I need the extra security over the holidays which is one of the many reasons I bought it in the first place! We travel to family many states away during this time and I need the live video, why are you destroying my peace of mind over the holidays??!!

One camera was not working previously. Now all 3 cameras are not working. When it worked it was very slow. Not worth it. The nas is great but using cameras with nas is very bad.
Synology broke the Live View again with this version. After many, many months of my live video not working, the previous release fixed it. I should have known better than to update, but its broken again for me now! Really disappointed again.
I love my Synology, but not being able to use the Live View defeats the purpose of having the app on my phone. Im forced to revert to the manufacturers app which is not as nice. Live view works just fine outside of my network via a web browser on a desktop, so the problem is definitely specific to this application.
We cant view the live cams past the preview screen unless on wireless connection. Weve tried multiple settings changes in hopes of a fix but no luck so far. Looking for some feedback or an app update.
The app can see the NAS, but login fails. Totally broken.
I purchased a thousands of dollars in hardware and $1,800 in licensing and this problem persists!? Not a firmware issue. Shame on you Synology. Dumbest thing Ive ever done is trust you jerks with the safety of my family and business. What a joke!!!!!!
After latest update, connections are slow to start, audio is choppy, and the picture quickly goes low-res and useless. Horrible experience. It worked great before this...
Very basic features but works great! I would like to edit sensitivity and camera settings though.
Since Ive updated, the app dont work outside home with the synology connect credentials. It list my cams, but I cant connect to anyone.
It seems that the 6.0 update broke live view for all but 1 of my cameras. Fortunately, its the one I need the most until Synology fixes the issue... At least the recordings seem to still work...
When will this be fixed? Since the update I cant view and single camera on iPhone or iPad. App. Why cant we get this right! When can it be working again? Not having an app you can count on for security is horrible
Ever since updating the latest dsm, servillence station and ds cam versions to latest, the ds cam cannot remember the device and keeps asking to enter the 2-step verification code on every login. This is very annoying...
How can you guys put out an app that says "bug fixes" and still not fix Live streaming. The previous release broke it and now this is of no help. It does not work via cellular connection!
